The Bull Run monument is on the Henry Hill walking tour on the Manassas battlefield is one of the first monuments dedicated to Civil War soldiers. It and its sister monument at Groveton were built by Union soldiers stationed near Manassas at the end of the war. It was dedicated on June 13, 1865.

The Honoring the Dead wayside marker is next to the monument and talks about its construction and dedication.
