Stop 10 of the Manassas Battlefield Driving Tour is Chinn Ridge. This was a minor area during the 1861, but in 1862 Longstreet’s attack on the final day swept across the fields, while Federal forces sacrificed themselves to desperately buy time for the army to withdraw.Map of Chinn Ridge on the Manassas battlefield showing trails, monuments and markers.
