Battles of Manassas • Tour the Battlefield •  Monuments • The Armies

Stop 3 of the Manassas Battlefield Driving Tour is the Stone House. It is on the northeast side of the intersection of Lee Highway (US 29) and Sudley Road (Virginia 234). Overlooking a major intersection in the middle of the battlefield, the Stone House served as a landmark, headquarters, and hospital in both 1861 and 1862. Trails lead from here to Henry Hill and the visitor Center, and Matthews Hill.
