The Confederate Soldiers monument is in the center of the Confederate Cemetery in the Spotsylvania Court House historic district. (38.202639° N, 77.583138° W; map). The monument was dedicated on May 30, 1918 by the United Daughters of the Confederacy.

citizens of Spotsylvania County,
to commemorate and
perpetuate the valor and
patriotism of the sons
of Spotsylvania County,
Virginia, and other
Confederate soldiers who
repose in this cemetery.
