The Battle of Hanover Pennsylvania historical marker is on the north side of the Center Square in Hanover, Pennsylvania, next to the equestrian statue. The marker was placed in 1959.

Battle of Hanover
On the morning of
June 30, 1863, Confederate
Cavalry under General
Stuart attacked the
rear of Union Cavalry
S E of here and, for a
while, had possession
of the town. The attack
repulsed, Stuart withdrew
in the evening.
