Front Royal – Monuments and Markers – 1862 Valley Campaign
The Belle Boyd and Jackson JD1 Virginia historical marker was placed south of Front Royal by the Virginia Conservation and Development Commission in 1929. The marker is south of Front Royal at Skyline Caverns, between the legs of the tall Skyline Caverns entrance sign. (see map below)
A wayside marker giving more information about the meeting is a short distance away on a side street.
