The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier is on the north wall of the Cold Harbor National Cemetery. The Tomb is a five foot tall sarcophagus carved in marble.

889 Union Soldiers,
gathered from the Battle Fields of
Mechanicsville, Savage-Station, Gaines-Mills,
And the vicinity of
Cold-Harbor.
