Battle of FredericksburgTour the BattlefieldMonuments & Markers • Armies

The Fredericksburg Battlefield Auto Tour has six stops. It starts at the Visitor Center at Stop 1, crosses the Rappahannock River for Stop 2, and returns to the south side of the river for the remaining tour stops along Lee Drive. Four other locations of interest are shown that are not part of the Auto Tour, but are easily reached from it.

The Auto Tour along Lee Drive is a low-speed park road full of walkers and bikers, both visitors and locals. Other roads in the area are busy and see heavy traffic. Most streets in Fredericksburg itself were laid out in Colonial times and are narrow and crowded. Many are one way.
