The Martha Stevens monument is along the Sunken Road, at Stop One on the Battlefield Auto Tour. The monument was placed by the United Daughters of the Confederacy, who used a different spelling of the family name from the National Park Service. The monument is a sort distance from the Stephens House wayside marker and Stephens Family Cemetery marker.

Location of the monument

The monument is on the east side of the Sunken Road Trail about 220 yards north of the Visitor Center. It is directly across the Sunken Lane from the Cobb monument. (38°17’43.3″N 77°28’05.7″W)
