under the provisions of the
Historic Sites Act of August 21, 1935.
This site possesses exceptional value
in commemorating and illustrating
the history of the United States.

Location of the monument
The Five Forks Registered National Historic Landmark tablet is at Stop Three just south of the Five Forks intersection. It is next to the Battle of Five Forks monument and across the road from the “Digging In“ and “Death of Pegram“ wayside markers. (37°08’24.1″N 77°36’39.0″W)
