The monument to Confederate General Turner Ashby is on the south side of Harrisonburg, Virginia. It is about 190 feet north of a Virginia historical marker to General Ashby.
The marker was erected in 1925. It is one of 25 markers placed during that time by the Battlefield Markers Association, Western Division, on bases erected by the Daughters of the Confederacy, D. A. R., and Memorial Association.
