Strasburg


The Trenches on Hupp’s Hill historical marker is north of Strasburg, Virginia. It was erected in 1927 by the Virginia Conservation & Development Commission. The marker is just a few feet from the wayside marker on the Battle of Hupp’s Hill or Stickley’s Farm.

against Early.

The marker is on the west side of the Valley Pike (U.S. 11) at the entrance to the Hupp’s Hill Civl War Park (formerly Crystal Caverns),about 0.9 mile north of Strasburg, Virginia and 1 mile south of the Interstate 81 interchange. (38°59’58.0″N 78°20’55.1″W)
