The 21st Georgia Infantry trailside marker is on the Brawner Farm loop trail at Stop One on the Manassas Battlefield Driving Tour.

Note: The marker was badly damaged at one point and was not very legible. It may have been removed or replaced.

“The fence being reached, the work of death commenced at short range. From this fence we poured volleys into the enemy for 30 or 40 minutes, when orders were given to fix bayonets and charge. The Federals held their lines until we were so close that the blazes from their guns seemed to pass through our ranks. Then they fled and the day was ours but at what a cost!”

Location of the marker

The marker is near the Confederate Line trail that starts at the Brawner Farm, Stop One on the Manassas Battlefield Driving Tour. It is along the trail about 700 yards from the trailhead at the Brawner Farmhouse at a T in the trail. (38°48’56.2″N 77°33’32.5″W) Are the T the south branch heads to an intersection with the Union Line trail which returns to Brawner Farm and further south to Stop Two – Battery Heights. The north branch leads to Stop Seven – The Deep Cut.
