Stop 9 of the Manassas Battlefield Driving Tour is on the south end of New York Avenue about 0.3 mile south of Lee Highway (U.S. 29). It was here on the last day of the Second Battle of Manassas that two New York regiments were overwhelmed as they tried to slow Longstreet’s attack to buy time for the rest of the army.

Stop 9 of the Manassas Battlefield Driving Tour is on the south end of New York Avenue about 0.3 mile south of Lee Highway (U.S. 29). (38°48’36.3″N 77°32’39.4″W) Some of the monuments and markers are along New York Avenue leading south from Lee Highway.
