Tour Stop 8 on the Wildeness Battleifled Auto TourThe Brock Road-Plank Road Intersection is Stop 8. This is the last stop on the Wilderness Battlefield Auto Tour. There is a small parking area on the south side of Orange Plank Road just west of the busy four way stop with Brock Road. From the parking area a trail loops 600 yards through 465 acres of land that was purchased and preserved in 2002.

This is the last stop on the Battle of the Wilderness Auto Tour. To visit the nearby Spotsylvania Court House battlefield, continue south on Brock Road about eight miles.
