The Hooe Family Cemetery is at Stop Ten – Chinn Ridge on the Manassas battlefield. The cemetery contains just one headstone, that of Captain Bernard Hooe, a Revolutionary War veteran who died in a duel in 1825. A four to five foot high sandstone wall encloses a 34′ x 47′ rectangle that was the family graveyard. It was vandalized in 1950 and the three surviving original headstones, all from 1809 or 1825, were stolen.
