Stop 5 of the Manassas Battlefield Driving Tour is Sudley. At the time of the battle this was a small village where Sudley Ford crossed Bull Run and Sudley Springs Ford crossed Catharpin Creek. Today Sudley Springs Church is all that remains.

The Sudley Loop trail starts at the parking area and leads to Sudley Ford and the Thornberry House.

The Ford at Sudley Springs was an easy crossing of Bull Run.
Location
Stop 5 of the Manassas Battlefield Driving Tour, Sudley, is on the west side of Sudley Road, Virginia Route 234, about 1.6 mile north of US 29 and 0.9 mile north of Stop 4, Matthew Hill.
