A self-guiding auto tour with nine stops will take you through the events of the day from the Confederate attack at dawn in the southern part of the park to the final Union counterattack in the northeast.
Start the tour at the National Park Visitor Center at 7712 Main Street in Middletown.
From there proced to Stop One on the Belle Grove area map:
Turn left out of the parking lot and proceed two miles along Main Street, which becomes the Valley Pike upon leaving the town. Stop 1 is a pull off on the north side of the highway.
