The State of Massachusetts monument is on the south side of Siege Drive just before leaving the Eastern Front of the Petersburg National Battlefield Park (see map below).

Location of the monument
The State of Massachusetts monument is on the left side of Siege Road just before leaving the park onto Crater Road. It is about one third of a mile past Stop Eight on the Petersburg Eastern Front Auto Tour. Siege Road is one way westbound. You cannot enter the park from Crater Road. (37°13’06.6″N 77°22’57.9″W)
