Confederate Battery 9 is Stop Three on the Petersburg Eastern Front Auto Tour..
The stop features an extensive display of recreated field fortifications and camp buildings. A half mile trail leads from the parking area to Meade Station, an important supply stop on the U.S. Military Railroad from City Point.
